Meet the team
Jill Hansell Email Jill	Jill was born in Edmonds, Washington. She is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Jill began her career in the mid-1980's as a professional recruiter with Management Recruiters and Techstaff. In 1994 Jill became a recruiter for FDSI Consulting, where she was quickly promoted to Manager of Recruiting, directing and mentoring a staff of ten recruiters. In 1996 when FDSI Consulting became a Cotelligent Company, Hansell was promoted to Vice President, becoming part of an executive team that pushed revenue growth in the Northwest from $17 to $54 million. Cotelligent was acquired by Comsys and Jill acquired the rank of Senior Managing Director and Divisional Vice President, working primarily with offices on the west coast. In 2002, Jill Hansell joined Carolyn Tierney in creating Hansell Tierney.

Carolyn Tierney Email Carolyn	Carolyn is a native to Washington. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Washington, as well as completing the UW Business Management Program. Carolyn began her career in technology staffing in the 1980's as an account manager and recruiter for FDSI Consulting. During her tenure she became President of FDSI, and was a moving force in the company's growth from 10 to 400 high-technology professionals in the Northwest. After the IPO and consolidation of FDSI into Cotelligent, Tierney became Executive Vice President of Cotelligent, responsible for its professional staffing business across the United States which consisted of nearly 3000 consultants. In 2002, Carolyn Tierney partnered with Jill Hansell in forming Hansell Tierney.

Patty Springberg Email Patty	Patty is a native to Washington. She graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies. Patty started her career managing implementations for a healthcare technology company located in Bellevue. She then joined a new start up branch of a national staffing company in 2000 as a Technical Recruiter. Four years later in 2004, Patty became an employee of CHIMES, a vendor management company, where she was responsible for the contingent staffing program of technical resources for a large financial institution. In 2006, Patty Springberg joined the Hansell Tierney team.

Kendra Schlapfer Email Kendra	Raised in Spokane, Kendra moved to the Seattle area to get her Bachelor's degree in American Ethnic Studies from the University of Washington. Following graduation she worked for a private school on the Eastside. Through her relationships developed at the private school, Kendra landed a position at Microsoft. After a year of contracting on Microsoft's Server and Tools Staffing Team, Kendra joined Hansell Tierney to grow her career in Recruiting. In 2007, Kendra Schlapfer joined Hansell Tierney.

Lorrie Montgomery Email Lorrie	Lorrie was born in Seattle, Washington. She attended the University of Washington majoring in Business. Lorrie pursued a career in banking starting as a teller and loan clerk for Rainier Bank. In 1980 she moved to Oregon, where she worked for US Bank of Oregon as a Loan Officer. She was soon promoted to Branch Manager, managing a staff of 20 as well as responsibilities of managing the sales efforts of 7 branches within her district. In 1990, Lorrie returned to Seattle and shifted her sales career to the consulting business first with Techstaff, an Engineering consulting company, then Telos Consulting specializing in IT staffing. She joined BEST Consulting in 1995 as a recruiter and within 2 years became an Account Manager responsible for the sales and marketing of IT consulting services to mid and large companies in the Seattle Market. BEST Consulting became a Comsys company in 2005. In 2008 Lorrie Montgomery joined the Hansell Tierney Team.
