Lorrie joined Hansell Tierney in 2008. She thrives on making the perfect match between client and candidate and works diligently to understand the needs of both. Lorrie started her career in banking but soon shifted her focus to consulting. She joined Techstaff, moving into the marketing of IT staffing services. She then joined Best Consulting (acquired by Comsys in 2005), where she was sales and marketing account manager for mid-size and large companies.
Philosophy
“Technology is exciting and ever changing. The fact that you can influence the lives of even a few people by making that perfect match between the client’s needs and the candidate’s desire to build their career is exciting. We never know what the day will bring. But I know I’ll laugh every day, work hard every day, and be part of a team that really cares about our clients, candidates and employees.”
Extracurricular and education
A Washington state native and graduate of Ingraham High School in Seattle, Lorrie went on to attend the University of Washington before starting a family. She is a member of the Society for Information Management and, as a golf enthusiast, directs the organization’s annual golf tournament. She also belongs to the Corvette Marque Club of Seattle and supports its diverse events and public service commitments.
