Since 2001, Hansell Tierney has helped Northwest companies of every stripe—from startups to established, and in every industry, with contract and full-time recruiting and placement of technology/IT professionals. Founded by Jill Hansell McCune and Carolyn Tierney, Hansell Tierney is a Washington State certified Women Owned Business (WBE). We have created a company based on the traditional values of personal service, integrity and industry knowledge.

Our philosophy
The Northwest is where our roots are and where we choose to do business. We are an alternative to impersonal national firms that cannot offer the same level of service or understanding of the marketplace that we provide. We place equal value on our clients and the IT professionals we place. The way we see it, unless both clients and candidates are happy, we haven’t done our job. We have a solid track record of successful placements in industries as diverse as education, manufacturing, financial services, and non-profits. And we know technology—both traditional and emerging.
We work hard to earn clients’ trust by delivering only the most viable candidates. And, we also strive to earn the trust of technology professionals who seek placement through us.
