SUMMARY

Control System Manager

Summary:
The Control Systems Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Control Systems group. This position works closely with the Research and Engineering team, the Infrastructure team, the Manager of Technology Operations and other business units to design, implement, maintain and administer the various technology control systems deployed at all properties.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the management of day-to-day operations of the Control Systems group
• Respond to Tier 2 support requests regarding hardware and software problems and escalate issues to the Research and Engineering team as necessary
• Create and maintain systems documentation and standard operating procedures
• Work with Research and Engineering team to design and implement control systems software and hardware solutions and provide operational feedback

Business Systems Analyst

Position Summary:
The Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between the engineering team and rest of the organization throughout the systems development life cycle. As a Business Analyst III, you will work with project teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.  You will be responsible for helping determine best practices for our organization, and for providing training in business analyst techniques to others.  You will create user stories, functional specifications, system interaction diagrams, and data modeling artifacts.  You will be responsible for system overview and architecture documentation. We are looking for someone who can take a scientific or engineering approach to requirements gathering.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work with departmental stakeholders to ensure complete requirements are gathered for new development projects
  • Develop and maintain functional requirements for new development projects
  • Writing and editing technical documentation for development projects
  • Developing common templates to be used for all system documentation
  • Helping to define documentation practices and processes

This position requires the following skills and experience:

  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a business and operational support system environment
  • 4+ years of experience with Business Process Re-engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience with technical writing
  • Some experience with Architectural Modeling
  • Proficiency with Word, Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in HTML (for creating web-based documentation)
  • Understanding of systems development life-cycle methodologies.  Familiarity with SCRUM and agile software methodologies preferred.
